I am back

Hello,

I am so so so so so so so so sorry that I haven't been writing ANYTHING in this blog,

Life has been crazy lets just say that, but for anyone who keeps coming back and checking thank you for your patience it is greatly appreciated!!

In the time I have been not writing I actually had gotten strep throat so I am going to give you tip and remedies that can help you if you ever get the strep :)

If you feel like your glands are swollen take a peek in the mirror you can usually see if they appear more red and are enlarged. Sometimes when you swallow it hurts(like your throat is made out of sandpaper and when you swallow you are swallowing more sandpaper, a really dry feeling) but that's if you leave it for a while, so if you feel swollen get it check right away!

The doctors will do a swab test and then probably subscribe you some meds, I got strawberry penicillin in liquid form because they didn't have any of the pills.(may not be this brand but you get the idea)

RULES:

Drink plenty of water to wash out those germs.

Get some Yogurt  you need to eat this to get the good bacteria back into your system as the penicillin pushes out both good and bad, so you need to balance it back out by getting that Yogurt in your belly and so it can protect them when they arrive!!

What to avoid:

Vitamin K-rich foods: Vitamin K-rich foods may include,Deep green vegetables, such as broccoli, spinach, asparagus, and red leaf lettuce, enhance the properties of blood thinners.Blood thinners prevent clots from forming, so foods rich in vitamin K, which promote blood clotting, counteract the medicine’s effect.

Dairy products: Dairy affects iron supplements and some antibiotics. so you get less of the active compound circulating in your bloodstream.

High fiber foods: High Fiber foods can affect some antibiotics, such as penicillin. Since fiber slows the rate that the stomach empties, the rate of medication absorption is slowed as well, giving you a lower blood dose than expected.

Alcohol: It affects antidepressants, antihistamines, sleeping pills, sedatives, and some antibiotics.

You are contagious for up to 3 days and 24 hours after taking the medications, so make sure you don't go into work the next day and get anybody else sick

Make some tea, cozy up .Being sick doesn't have to suck, take the day to relax and watch your favorite movies. You will get better in no time at all!
